how do i instantiate score prefabs along a curved line?

the scoring of my game is such that at the end, depending on how well the player does, little star prefabs pop up and do a shake scale. what i want is for them to appear along a slightly curved line in the middle of the screen, for aesthetic purposes, and i want them to center themselves depending on how many stars there are. any thoughts? should i be using some element of UI for this? any help would be much appreciated, thank you guys!
